How to Block Websites

As I’m searching for different wedding related items, I am consistently bombarded with JJs House. And I REFUSE to link to their site because I already tried to work with them and had a truly bad experience. I tried to cancel an order before it was made, and they weren’t going to let me. Actually they would let me but I could only have some percentage back but not the full amount.

I got the full value back.

Funny story though, when I went dress shopping at Marchele’s Bridal Boutique in the Reno Town Mall, I received some advice without asking: “Do not shop with JJs House.” Apparently I’m one of the few who actually got their money back.

Moving on though, now that I am hunting for shoes to go with my new dress that should arrive in July, I keep getting JJs House on my search feed! It’s awful! So, I decided to seek out a solution, aaaaand TAH DAH! Google Chrome Site Blocker!!!!

I don’t know why I didn’t think to look for this sooner, but I’m so excited!

Honestly, I don’t even have to do anything complicated to use it. I did reject their request to block adult sites though. Why would I do that, you might ask? Because some memes, images, and even stories can be reported as adult sites even if they are not. And I would really hate to miss something funny because chrome was trying to control what I saw outside of what I was choosing to NOT see – like JJs House.

Really, I felt like the first couple of pop-ups from the extension were a power play, but I don’t care; at least, not as long as I don’t have to see any items or adds from stupid JJ.

PS!!! I SAID YES TO THE DRESS YESTERDAY!!!!! Marchele’s Bridal Boutique was amazing and I would highly suggest going! Also, my fiancé doesn’t read my blog, but I’m still not going to post pictures of the dress – just in case.
