When I started taking action against my Cushing’s Disease, I stopped doing the artistic hobbies I once enjoyed. And to be completely honest, I may have stopped long before that.
I stopped drawing. I stopped painting. I stopped making jewelry. I stopped everything. I even stopped singing.
I didn’t sing again until after the surgery, and quickly discovered that with my nose still constantly draining, I couldn’t sing without coughing. That’s still a work in progress (looking for an ENT doctor to help me), but in the meantime, I’m going to work on nurturing my creative needs.
