Waiting Forever

Waiting here, my life feels obsolete.
Though not alone, every moment escapes me.
It’s been so long since I’ve had much to see.
But with you, I feel I’m finally free.
If only you could feel the same as me.
I know that we would find our destiny.

I was waiting for the day you’d come alive.
I was hoping that the sun would shine on your life.
Every moment that you’re here you seem to die.

Hours to days, and years to centuries.
Each second hurts, when it’s only pain I see.
Deep in your eyes, the echoes never leave.
And my soul cries, while yours will only bleed.
What is the point, why are we still breathing?
Is this the end, or are we gonna fly?

I was waiting for the day you’d come alive.
I was hoping that the sun would shine on your life.
Every moment that you’re here you seem to die

Forever we will throw our time away looking back wondering if there was ever a new path that we missed.
